Decaf Espresso

Notes of Panela and Milk Chocolate

Our Decaf Espresso is carefully sourced directly from farms in and around Jerico Colombia. Using ethanol produced by sugar cane, this coffee is naturally decaffeinated at the source, in the Huila department, then shipped to us for roasting.

Roast Level
After roasting the coffee, we measure the bean color using a spectrophotometer. Our 10-point scale is the indicator, with the lightest to the left and the darkest to the right.

Decaf Colombia

El Eje (the axis) coffee was sourced from multiple family farms near Risaralda, Colombia, and sent to our partners at Descafecol for decaffeination. Their proprietary process uses a solvent base, a natural byproduct of sugarcane processing, grown farther south, nearby Cali. The decaffeination plant uses a patented method to extract ethanol from sugarcane. This method is 100% chemical-free, leaving you with only the coffee’s true flavor.
