Swing’s Coffee Roasters is hiring a full-time coffee production associate to work out of our Alexandria, VA roastery. This is a warehouse position and works closely with a small production team to fulfill daily coffee orders.
This position reports to the Director of Coffee Operations.
Duties and requirements include but are not limited to:
· Assisting the wholesale production team with fulfillment of coffee orders into retail and wholesale bags.
· Manage rapid movement of coffee bags.
· Prioritize correctly packaging orders in timely manner.
· Working with company roasting team to manage roasts.
· Maintains exemplary sanitation practices under FDA and regulatory standards.
· Develop working knowledge of the accounting invoices to ensure precise and timely order fulfillment.
· All applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs., have a clean driving history, and demonstrate a track record of showing initiative and getting the job done.
The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
- Experience and/or exposure to FDA food and sanitation requirements are highly preferred.
- Share our passion for coffee.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, though not necessary.
- Prior coffee experience preferred
- This person must be a team player and able to perform multiple functions throughout the day.
- Willingness to work in a small team environment with a positive attitude.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
