With multiple Probats on the roasting floor, each batch is sized to the appropriate roaster. Better transfer of heat from the cast-iron drum of a vintage Probat, 50 pounds of coffee roasts better and more evenly on a roaster designed to roast as much. All coffees are sample roasted to ideal color and flavor, then craft-roasted just as it was at 1013 E.
